Get Back to Play is back

Two people show off bright coloured children's play equipment in the garden at Strawberry Field
19th July, 2022

Join us for a summer of play and arts and craft at Strawberry Field.

Looking for things to do with your children this summer holiday? Join us for family fun every Thursday until the end of August, when we will open the garden for families to come and enjoy free play with play equipment in the garden at Strawberry Field from 10am. Order lunch from the café or enjoy a picnic whilst you relax under the trees .

After lunch book a spot on our arts and craft workshops with our lovely artists Catherine and Bev. Take part in creating patterns with gel plates, make your own garden creature or a colourful pin wheel to take home. Activities vary throughout the summer and are suitable for primary school age children.

Tickets cost £5 per child. Please book in advance here.

Don't forget, children are welcome every day at Strawberry Field, with free entry to the gardens and café 10am-6pm, 7 days a week, and under 16s can also visit our interactive exhibition free with a paying adult. Book your exhibition tickets here.

We look forward to welcoming your family to Strawberry Field this summer!

“The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
