Opportunities for spiritual exploration

We encourage people to wander through our gardens and to spend some time dwelling on the various quotations dotted around the garden. If you choose to use a media guide through the garden as part of the exhibition, this leads you on a reflective walk focusing on three songs: Watching the Wheels, Imagine, and All you Need is Love.

In our garden you will also see a stepping stone Labyrinth and we encourage you to take your time walking the labyrinth. If you would like a guide for this or somebody to accompany you, then please speak to a member of staff.

At various times throughout the year we hold workshops or events which are opportunities for people to come together in a small group and spend a longer time in stillness, reflection and creativity. Please keep an eye on our social media for details.

“The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
