Kelly is responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers for the Steps to Work programme and across all areas of Strawberry Field. Kelly’s background is in journalism and PR, but more recently she moved into the charitable sector undertaking volunteer management. Outside of work Kelly enjoys spending time with her son and is a keen runner and tandem cyclist. She is a huge advocate of volunteering and is a volunteer counsellor as well as a national ambassador for Parkrun UK. She enjoys playing the piano and saxophone and has a passion for writing.
In order to continue our work in the community and develop Strawberry Field’s legacy, we need your support and dedication. Helping at Strawberry Field is your chance to get involved with the valuable work of The Salvation Army and be part of the story of Strawberry Field.
There are a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer at Strawberry Field. You will not only develop your skills and experience, but help make a difference in the lives of young people with learning difficulties and other barriers to employment
We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities including: reception, admin, meet & greet, cafe and retail, parking attendants, gardening, prayer volunteers, events, fundraising, Steps to Work and more.
If you’re interested in finding out more about how to become a Strawberry Field volunteer we’d love to hear from you!
