Get Back To Play is back this Summer

Join us for family-friendly fun and get inspired by John Lennon’s legacy of music and peace this summer at Strawberry Field! Enjoy family crafts and play with traditional toys and games in the gardens where John himself played as a child. 

Get Back to Play is a series of free family events taking place every Tuesday during the summer. Over the course of the weekly sessions, we’ll be exploring some special themes together, including storytelling, sport, music, drama, and nature.

Memorial bench to honour Googlebox stars Leon and June Bernicoff unveiled at Strawberry Field

We are delighted to have installed a new memorial bench at Strawberry Field to honour the late Liverpool stars of Channel 4’s Gogglebox, Leon and June Bernicoff.

Unveiled at a small ceremony, attended by Leon and June’s family, including their daughters, Helen Hunter and Julie Bernicoff, the bench will be a permanent feature in the gardens at the award-winning visitor attraction based in Woolton, Liverpool.

Strawberry Field staged our premiere, large-scale carol concert in The Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena on Liverpool’s waterfront. ‘Celebrating Christmas with Strawberry Field’, on the first Sunday of Advent, saw friends and supporters enjoy a unique start to the festive season in the city.
