Volunteer

In order to continue our work in the community and develop Strawberry Field’s legacy, we need your support and dedication. Helping at Strawberry Field is your chance to get involved with the valuable work of The Salvation Army and be part of the story of Strawberry Field.

There are a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer at Strawberry Field. You will not only develop your skills and experience, but help make a difference in the lives of young people with learning difficulties and other barriers to employment

We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities including: reception, admin, meet & greet, cafe and retail, parking attendants, gardening, prayer volunteers, events, fundraising, Steps to Work and more.

If you’re interested in finding out more about how to become a Strawberry Field volunteer we’d love to hear from you!

“The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
